An apparatus (100) for producing three-dimension (3D) images/videos/texts is disclosed. The apparatus (100) comprises a one-way mirror (102), a supporting member (104), an optical lens (106), and a back reflecting bottom (108) having a hole (110) at a center. The optical lens (106) is securely affixed to the hole (110) of the back-reflecting bottom (108). The supporting member (104) is disposed on an outer periphery of the back-reflecting bottom (108). The one-way mirror (102) is positioned on the supporting member (104), thereby creating an infinity space between the back-reflecting bottom (108) and the one-way mirror (102), wherein the infinity space is unaffected by colors and light from an outside environment. The electronic device (112) is placed on the bottom of the apparatus (100) for projecting two-dimensional images/videos/texts through the optical lens (106), thereby producing 3D images/videos/texts in the infinity space and providing a 3D visual experience for the user.

l DK 2021 00307 A1 APPARATUS FOR GENERATING 3D IMAGES/VIDEOS/TEXTS FROM A 2DPROJECTION
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention disclosed herein generally relates to an apparatus for producing three-dimension (3D) images/videos. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus used for producing three-dimension (3D) images/videos from two- dimension (2D) images/videos, which are displayed on a screen of an electronic device, for example, a smartphone. The apparatus is configured to allow a user to convert the 2D image into a 3D image with accurate dimensions.
BACKGROUND Portable computing devices, like smartphones and tablets, have evolved to display high-resolution images to users. These devices typically display two-dimensional photographs and video images reflecting the real world, and/or computer-generated characters. As these displays have evolved, it has become desirable to display imagery in three-dimensions to improve user experience through enhanced realism. Three- dimensional (3D) images could be used in various fields such as medical imaging, gaming, advertisement, education, military affairs, and any other application involving the display of images or characters. Currently, different technologies and devices have been developed for producing 3D images from 2D images, which are displayed on a screen. The existing three-dimension conversion devices could provide a 3D presentation of the image and create a 3D effect. The conversion of a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional image involves capturing multiple images of an object or space, and splicing the images together to create a single image. However, during the conversion of a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional image, scaling of the converted image is typically not
, DK 2021 00307 A1 performed. In addition, conventional conversion applications do not incorporate accurate depth measurements into the converted image. Because of this, conventional conversion devices are not capable of realistically representing a room or object in three-dimensional form based on a two-dimensional image. These technologies may either create an unsatisfied 3D effect for certain content or significantly increase the computational complexity. Further, these technologies could not produce high-quality simulated three- dimensional output from a two-dimensional input.
In the light of the above-mentioned problems, there is a need for an apparatus for producing three-dimension (3D) images/videos from two-dimension (2D) images/videos, which are displayed on a screen of an electronic device, for example, a smartphone. Further, there is also a need for an apparatus that allows a user to convert a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional image that has accurate dimensions.
